We have this NEW DIRT DEVIL electric vacuum cleaner!!! It's the tiniest thing, but it sure does clean up everything in its path! It used to take me an hour just to sweep up and scrub the living room floor, but now, it takes me less than 30 minutes to vacuum the whole house!! It's a FANTASTIC feeling sucking up all the dust bunnies and crumbs in this floor.. sheesh, it's like our kids attract nastiness!!! Anyways, NOT FOR MUCH LONGER!!! woohoo!! We also plan on getting one of the skinny steam vacs too.
OH, we also bought this huge set of cubbies (15 made of wood... 3 X 5) to help us organize.. it was less than $100 but it is fantastic!! not gotten everything organized just yet, but soon.. we're preparing for thanksgiving and getting everything rearranged, put up, cleaned up, and organized so we can feel comfortable having people over for Thanksgiving! It's great to actually see progress on the house!!!
Sweet, bubba!!!! we just bought a vacuum (finally) too!!!! we got a kenmore canister style vac. and i'm beyond excited about it. for a while we had only a shop vac, and that thing is awesome for small messes that are like.... piles of stuff. like a spilled box of cereal or something. but for the whole house it's just not even worth it.
ReplyDeleteyou know we don't have kids yet, but 2 cats and 2 dogs are enough to make our house need a vacuum cleaner. for real. =)
